Soft tissue therapy involves the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of minor and chronic soft tissue injuries and dysfunction. Soft tissues include the deep and superficial muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and other fibrous connective tissue.
Treatments include a number of advanced massage therapy, of which deep tissue massage is just one component. I may also use myofascial release, trigger point work, muscle energy techniques, positional release and/or kiniesiology taping. In short, whatever works best to quickly to calm down your nervous system and get you back on your feet and doing the things you love.
